Welcoming & Lecture on history of Bethlehem
Meet back at the Bethlehem Peace Center in Manger Square. There will be a lecture specifically on the history of Bethlehem leading up the quintessential years of 1948 and 1967. Participants will discuss how Bethlehem has changed over the decades and the presence of the Israeli’s by the wall, checkpoint, and nearby settlements. A question and answer session will conclude the conference.

Lecture on history of Palestine and topics of interest
Meet at the Bethlehem Peace Center in Manger Square. There will be a lecture on topics of the British Mandate, UN Resolution, Partition Plan, Arabic Nationalism, Nakba, Palestinian-Israeli Conflict, Armed Struggle and PLO. A question and answer session will conclude the conference.
3:00pm – 5:30 pm
Tour of Bethlehem
Participants will be led on a guided tour around Bethlehem. During this tour they will be taken to all the crucial historical landmarks of Bethlehem and they will drive up to the wall and checkpoint and learn about how the Israeli’s have divided the city. Through this tour participants will also learn about Area A, Area B, and Area C under the partition plan.
5:30 – 8:00 pm
Cooking class & dinner with local Palestinian
Participants will attend a cooking class and learn to prepare traditional Palestinian meals. They will be able to interact with local Palestinians and listen to their narrative and how the conflict has affected them. They will also be able to interact with Palestinian children and learn about the limitations of children living in Palestine and how their lives are affected by the occupation.
