Bethlehem, a Palestinian city, and the center of the Bethlehem Governorate. It is located in the West Bank in Palestine, 10 km south of Jerusalem. Its population is 31,000 people and it is considered a center of culture and tourism In Palestine, the city has great importance to Christians because it is the birthplace of Jesus Christ. Bethlehem includes many churches, the most important of which is the Church of the Nativity, which is registered on the UNESCO World Heritage List.

More than 150 years of giving and serving the citizen
The Bethlehem Municipality oversees the administration of the city of Bethlehem, which is one of the oldest municipalities in Palestine. It was established in 1872, and the current elected municipal council took office in January 2024 and consists of 15 members, headed by lawyer Anton Salman.
