About Mayor of the Bethlehem

Maher Nicola Canawati assumed office as the Mayor of Bethlehem on May 12, 2025, succeeding Attorney Anton Salman. He was born in the city of Bethlehem and comes from a well-known local family with a longstanding presence in trade and community service.
